The Sioux City Hornets begin their Sioux City ABA Preseason campaign this Saturday playing against the Topeka Aviators. It’s the first scheduled game for the Hornets here in Sioux City and will help build awareness towards bullying and will be hosted at the Boys Club of Sioux City.

The Hornets are starting to build quite the reputation here in Siouxland for their community support. They have already partnered with the Pier Center for Autism and helped spread their mission throughout Siouxland and now they plan to fight teen bullying with this weekend’s game among numerous other community activities.Hornets owner Mo Williams signs autograph

The game tips off at 5:45pm and doors will open at 5pm so make sure you get there because it should be a packed house. General admission is $7 ($12 at the door) and $5 for kids. There will be a lot of entertainment with both the game and half time activities for everyone.

Half time entertainment include raffles, prize giveaways and there is a bake sale with the proceeds going towards benefiting medical expenses for one of the team dancers.

The Hornets regular season begins in April with season tickets at $45 for 14 home games.
