The Siouxland United Wolves opened the Nebraska Youth Rugby Association playoffs with a pair of victories and a spot in tomorrow’s semi finals by beating Omaha United 26-5 then Papillion 40-22 Saturday in Omaha.

Hunter Boettcher led the scoring against Omaha United with 3 conversions. Cole Eaton, Luke Howley, Diego Samaniego and Deionta Williams each scored one try for the Wolves.

Eaton added 3 more tries in the second match. Boettcher had a try and 5 conversions, Williams added a try and Carter Tullis came off the bench to score a diving intercept try as time ran out.

The Wolves face Millard Black in the semi-final match tomorrow morning at 10 at Omaha’s Storz Rugby Complex.
