Austin Homan lead five double digit scores with 42 points as the Outlaws played visitors to the Native Kings today at the Boys and Girls Club in Sioux City.

This being the opening day for the Great Plains Basketball Association, Outlaws get their first win of the season 139-137 as part of a double header where the Bison fell to 0-1 as they were defeated by Elk Soldier 140-98.

Homans 42 points was followed by Alvin Gunter with 35, Manny Moniz 19, Martez VanBuren 18, and Nate Deal with 14.

The Outlaws found themselves down by double digits a few times in this contest before battling back and forth during the fourth quarter to hang on for the victory.

The Outlaws will be home in the friendly confines of The Boys and Girls Club next Saturday as they will play host to the Bison.

The Outlaws will be looking for win number two as the Bison will be playing for their first victory of the season!
