The Siouxland United Wolves took 3rd in the NYRA Championship tournament held Sunday in Omaha.
The Wolves were were 2-0 in the tournament going into the semi-final match against Millard but were undone by a score of 44-22.
That put the Wolves in the battle for 3rd place going against Omaha United, a side that they have defeated convincingly the day before in pool play. The Wolves made sure to send their senior ruggers off on a winning note, posting a 44-10 victory.
The Wolves finish the year with an 11-2 record and a slew of graduating seniors, many of whom are going on to play collegiate rugby in the fall.
