The Siouxland United Wolves advanced to the Rugby Nebraska playoffs with a 17-10 win over West Omaha Saturday morning at the Dible Soccer Complex.
The Wolves move to 7-1 with the victory and will now host Omaha United in the first round of the Rugby Nebraska playoffs on Wednesday evening at 6:30.
The Wolves had a strong first half, getting tries from Luke Howley, Deionta Williams and Edgar Olihuerte.
Hunter Boettcher added one conversion setting haltime score at 17-0.
West Omaha had a strong 2nd half but down by a try with 15 minutes left the Wolves defense held the visitors at bay.
West Omaha took 2nd to Siouxland in the north conference and will meet Gretna in Omaha, Wednesday evening.
