I interviewed Shaya Porter, who is a junior at Winnebago Public School. Shaya is a great basketball player. She currently plays for the Winnebago Lady Indians. Her favorite sport is basketball, as she grew up around it and always loved the game. She has been playing basketball since she was in the fourth grade.
I asked Shaya if her family is supportive and she said that they are very supportive. Shaya’s best memory of playing basketball is when she took her first charge during her freshman year. Her favorite college team is Louisville Cardinals. Besides being a great athlete, Shaya does well in school.
