It was raining 3’s yesterday at the Boys and Girls Club as Jordan Brown, who was picked up this week by Coach Wilson and the Outlaws, splashed home 15- 3’s on his way to a 64 point outing for the home team as they beat Sioux Nation 147 – 118.
Brown was followed by Al Gunter Jr. with 27 while Manny Moniz and Kevin Sams chipped in with 17 a piece.
After missing on his first four attempts, Brown hit 3 of his 15 three point baskets in the first quarter and rang up 11 points before hitting 7 more 3’s in the second and adding 28 more points to his total for the game.
The Hosts see their record climb to 6-0 while Sioux Nation dropped to 1-5 on the season.
Sioux Nation was lead by Ryan Red Owl who put on a shooting display of his own as he hit 13- 3’s en route to a 43 point night.
Red Owl was followed by Casey Saul with 24, Nick White 23, Mark Henry 12, and Christian Swalley with 11.
The Outlaws will have next week off before traveling to Marty, SD to take on Elk Soldier who fell to Native Kings in the first game of the double header at the Boys and Girls Club 154- 66, while Sioux Nation 1-5 will host Elk Soldier next Saturday in Santee, NE at the Santee High School.
